Woodhaven Custom Calls Reviews

I used it last weekend and was impressed. The birds started talking back quick, and I had my tag filled by 8. My brother was with me and even he was surprised how well it worked. Definitely happy with it.

The call sounds nice and it’s still working after a few hunts. Mine just got scratched up faster than I expected, and the edges don’t feel all that tough. For the price, I figured it’d hold up a bit better

I grabbed one of the Woodhaven calls kind of in a hurry, and the sound is what stood out right away. It doesn’t have that cheap plastic squeak some calls end up with, which was a relief.

The tones come through clean, but you can still get that raspy edge when you want it. I was a little rushed the first time I messed with it, so it took me a few tries, but it wasn’t hard to get the hang of.

I’ve used it on a few mornings now, usually while trying to get set up faster than I should be, and it still feels really natural to run. Sounds like a real bird without trying too hard. Easy 5 stars from me

The site was not that easy to use at all. It felt super clunky, and I kept getting annoyed trying to do simple things. I wasn’t expecting a flawless masterpiece or anything, but wow, it really tested my patience.

Like I said, for the money, these are solid. I don’t really have any major complaints, and like I said, they do what I need them to do without costing a lot.

They had a good mix of wood calls and different styles, which was nice to see. I did spend longer than I expected trying to pick one, and it wasn’t all exactly what I had in mind, but the selection was definitely better than I thought it would be...

I had a quick question about my order and, to be fair, they did get back to me quickly. The service was polite and helpful, which I appreciated. I just wish the updates had come a little sooner so I wasn’t left wondering for a bit. Overall, it was fine, just slightly frustrating.

I ordered one style and somehow a totally different call showed up in the box. The wood and finish weren’t what I picked, and even the engraving was off. Weirdly, I remember there was a tiny curled wood shaving stuck in the corner of the packaging, which made me notice everything even more. I emailed to get it fixed, but it pretty much turned into more waiting. Maybe it was just a mix-up, but for custom work, I really expect the order to be right the first time.

I assumed it would get here quickly, but shipping ended up taking way longer than I thought. Maybe I just expected too much, but it was kind of annoying waiting around for it...

You can tell some real care went into making this. It feels sturdy in the hand and has that handmade quality a lot of us look for. I did notice one small rough spot, but nothing that really takes away from it. Overall, I think most customers would be pleased with how well it’s made.

I’m 100% convinced this thing could’ve survived just about anything in transit. It showed up totally safe, the box was sturdy, and everything inside was wrapped really well. No complaints at all.
